A Little Bit of Everything at Yankee Candle Village

Snowmen, armored knights of all sizes, teddy bears and Santa figures are just a smattering of the thousands of things one can see at an attraction in western Massachusetts.

There are literally hundreds of Christmas tree ornaments from which to choose and, of course, candles galore in every shape, color and size imaginable.

The destination is Yankee Candle Village, in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, home of more than 200 fragrant candle scents.

Room after room, exhibit after exhibit, there is so much to take in.

It is a true extravaganza for all the senses, year-round but especially at Christmas time.

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE PLACE TO GO AROUND THE HOLIDAYS?

Yes I do have a favorite place...Dana Point Harbor which is decorated to the hilt and then they have a gorgeous boat parade of lights at night. I'd like to go to Yankee Candle Village too...it looks so festive there.

I have a question - I know they have candles and scents - but the other items - could you buy then too if you wanted - a wonderful Christmas Shoppe!

There is a little river town near us, and numerous small homes (former residences circa 1900 have been converted to holiday shoppes. The fragrance is divine when you walk in anyone of them.
