Gentleness Amid the Chaos

Today is the second Sunday of Advent on the Christian calendar.

A second candle is lit on the wreath in the middle of the kitchen table.

We wait, with anticipation, celebration of the birth of the Baby Jesus.

This Sunday, why not practice gentleness?

There is so much chaos and division in our world right now.

As difficult as it is to do, it is important to pray for those causing ugliness, bigotry, and conflict.

It's also time to slow down, reflect, and know that the Little One came for all to have peace and hearts filled with love, not hate.

HOW CAN YOU PRACTICE GENTLENESS TODAY?

Went to a lovely Christmas concert this afternoon with a string quartet as well as chorus. Now that to me is gentleness.....
