Gifts from the Heart

Some people have tremendous self-restraint when it comes to waiting for Christmas to open up gifts.

I am not one of them.

As soon as someone gives me a gift, it's a  sure thing that it will be opened on the spot.

A very dear friend, Jana, sent me a box of delightful gifties and it was sheer enjoyment to open every one of them.

Only some of the gifts are shown in this post!

Jana is a girl who has an elegant touch.

Even the handmade card she sent was extremely beautiful and unique. It sits at the top of the card holder in the hall.

The little golden angel, nestled on cotton inside a box, now flies from a nail in the window of the kitchen door.

Oh, she's a little cherished dear.

Four sparkling pink birdies have taken up residence on the pink and little white Victorian tree in the dining room.

In Spanish, "Feliz Navidad" is how one says Merry Christmas.

Imagine my delight when I saw the holiday socks that had a fuzzy sheep on them and the following words:

It is my sincerest hope that my dear friend knows how her gifts from the heart touched my own heart!

DO YOU WAIT UNTIL CHRISTMAS DAY TO OPEN PRESENTS?

I think gifts should be opened right away. I find it so weird when someone just takes gifts and sets them aside. Sometimes they never even acknowledge that they've opened them. :/ Merry Christmas!

I love how much you loved everything! Such a lovely friend you have. Yes, I wait. We no longer give each other many gifts, we do little surprises thru the season that we place on the kitchen counter. It is fun! Merry Christmas! Kit

Your gifts are lovely, Susan! Some gifts I will open when I receive them but gifts from family I wait until Christmas. Merry Christmas and may your New Year be happy and healthy!

Hugs,

Oh my goodness - those presents were awesome. I have to tell you the wrapping alone was a gift. I wish I was more artistic like that!
