The Easter Tree

One of my favorite activities of the Easter season is to have the grandchildren decorate a special tree with eggs, wooden bunnies and carrots, and all kinds of other doodads.

As I retrieve the bare tree with the bendable branches from the bin in the attic, I feel like a little kid getting ready for an Easter egg hunt.

This year, three of my five little grands were able to travel to our house.

They were very, very excited to decorate and did a really great job, even though they have a really gorgeous Easter tree in their own house!

The tree now sits in the middle of the kitchen table.

I even put one of my Easter tablecloths with tulips all along the edges on the table.

Life's greatest memories come from little acts, like decorating the Easter tree.

HAVE YOU EVER DECORATED AN EASTER TREE?

Oh how pretty. I havn't any little ones now. The youngest grandchild is 17 but I'm sure the youngest would love to have an Easter tree, that is as long as he could eat the decorations LOL.
