Changing Tastes in Decorating

As people get older, tastes in food can change, right?

Tastes in decorating can change, too.

For instance, blue and white color combinations never thrilled me.

Now, I love them.

Blue and white dishes from England are especially appealing.

While visiting a very dear friend recently, I was happy to see beautiful blue and white china on her table.

Even her tablecloth matched perfectly!

My friend's mother, who I also love dearly, has an eye for beauty and found the china from England at a yard sale!

The new matching tablecloth she purchased in a store.

My own kitchen has lots of blue and white these days,  too, as well as very pastel yellow walls.

The paint used had a most pleasant name----"Morning Sunshine."

WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE COLOR COMBOS?

<y 25 year old grandson said our furniture doesn't match. I say it does. The colors are beige and blue, ocean, sky and sand, my love for the beach shines.

I recently changed my kitchen to blue and white. Blue china has always been the prettiest to me. I think you will like the blue and white in your home, Susan. It's a pleasant change. : )

I love the blue and white too! Add yellow and I really love it. Sadly, I was on a red kick for a long, long time. Now I’m over it, but I have too many solid red pieces to change my decorating to blow and white.

I love all sorts of colors and combos - yellow and blue are gorgeous. Wish my house was big enough and I could have all of them.
