Wreaths on doors signal welcome.
It's great when they can be changed with the season or holiday at hand.
A look at some of the floral wreaths for spring in a big arts and crafts store was fun but oh my goodness, the prices would blow most people on budgets out of the woods.
Up in the attic, sat an old grapevine wreath with several big, fat cabbage pink roses on it.
So off to the dollar store I went, bought a slew of additional, really beautiful pink roses, and stuck them all into the wreath.
The result is certainly not perfect or very professional, but it's very pretty and reminiscent of spring.
Best of all, it cost less than $20! (Thank goodness for dollar stores and the ingenuity and craftsmanship of Chinese faux flower makers.)
All it needs now is a long bow to blow in the breeze.

That is so pretty. My door is uncovered so I don't tend to put up a wreath except at Christmas.
Very pretty. I also have a rose wreath on my door for spring. makes me happy to look at it.

Your rose wreath is pretty, Susan. It looks nice on your front door. Nel is really good at making door wreaths. It's been awhile since I made one. What a fun project. Yes, the dollar store is the best.

I'm not too creative Susan. I buy anything I have on my front door. Right now I still have my Easter Bunny sign up..ha ha. Your wreath is gorgeous.
