It takes so little to make children happy.
The other day, I visited the home of dear ones and brought a few Fourth of July holiday decorations plus a handful of "glow sticks."
The latter are long, plastic straws that, when bent, light up in different colors.
They can be fashioned into bracelets and necklaces.
A bright red star decoration went in the middle of the table as a star-spangled centerpiece.
A couple other shiny decorations were hung from a chandy and the kids loved blowing on them to see them dance in the air.
They were also thrilled over the glow sticks and immediately ran upstairs into a darkened bedroom to put on a show.
The glory of children's enthusiasm and joy of life is so incredibly admirable.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A KID AGAIN?

I wouldn't want to be a kid again but I love being with my grandkids and seeing their enthusiasm over little things like glow sticks. Have fun with yours.
No way - but I do enjoy my grands!
