July 4th Parade Balloons and More

Parades never get old, especially those that take place on the Fourth of July.

The colors, sights and sounds, the pageantry and patriotism, all make for a splendid couple of hours.

This post is picture heavy so rather than reading, just scroll down for the photos.

We'll show you more in another post.

Big balloons always delight adults and kids, alike.

Floats are fun, too, and are a lot of work to design and make.

All of the offerings shown in this post are from this year's Fourth of July parade in a Western Massachusetts town.

It was a blistering hot day but that failed to deter people from coming out to see the parade.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF PARADES?

I love the marching bands. I used to march in them myself when I was in high school. Brings back so many memories.
