Fun Road Trip

For more than a week, a sister, who now lives in California, has been back to visit in her old stomping grounds in the east.

We have visited tons of relatives...

(Photo  of flag taken in front of Pownal Barn in Vermont)

Gone out to eat (way too many times)...

Went to a concert featuring Civil War songs....

Played Scrabble a slew of times...

And even managed to take a road trip to Bennington, Vermont.

The photos in this post show scenes during a stop at the Apple Barn Country Bake Shop in Bennington.

Everything was colorful and fun.

WHAT KIND OF QUICK EXCURSIONS DO YOU ENJOY?

There is just something so wonderful about the fall and the cool and the colors - I really love this season the best.

I went and sold pumpkins today at our churches pumpkin patch - we have done it for 33 years.

I love your photos and hope you are having a ball.

Can't do any quick excursions around here except by plane. :/ Love seeing all the pumpkins! Fall is my favorite time of year. I miss it so much!
