Today, the sun is shining.
The temps are not too hot.
The little fountain in the backyard is trickling.
Birds are enjoying munching on their seeds.
They are flitting from the trees, to the fence, and then to their feeders.
These are such simple things to observe but they are precious.
Each moment of today, as every day, is a treasure.
It is such a gift to be alive.

I love your things - I can't believe it is just spring there - we are in summer.
I find joy when i find something I like - and feel grateful for it.
I love that chair with a plant on it. I have been watching a mama bird feed her baby for days. It is so sweet.
Susan, your comment was so nice tonight, and I really needed that right now. She was one of my best friends and it's hitting me hard that she's gone. Your post is perfect, as we have today and that is special. I'm glad it isn't too warm out and you are enjoying Spring. I like that white wicker chair on your porch. How lovely it would be to sit out there. And the birds are singing their song.
You're right, each moment of every day is a treasure. Sometimes we miss that when our hearts are hurting, but I want to thank you for this gentle reminder.

Very hot day here in So. Cal today. I find joy in going to the local pool and exercise each morning. It's a beautiful pool and after we go in the hot tub and seeing and being with my friends brings me joy.
It's too hot here to enjoy much outdoors but I have my plants to take care of on the balconies and try to walk early if I can. But just waking up to another day, being healthy, and having choices is enough to be grateful for.
Our weather has cooled down a bit this week into the lower 80s. Much better than the 90s. Isn't summer wonderful? Seems there are new joys every day. xo Laura
