Soon, the cinnamon/orange candle will be lighted in our house and it will fill the rooms with fabulous, spicy, fall fragrance.
Beautifully scented candles are EXPENSIVE.
A big one can cost up to $29 or even more. That would be wayyyyyy over my budget.
That's why, while visiting a Goodwill thrift store recently, I just about did a dance in one of the aisles.
Some lovely, scented candles could be purchased for a fraction of their original cost.
The balsam and cedar Yankee candle was obviously used but it had a lot more burning power. For 69 cents, I absolutely could not pass it up.
An Old Williamsburg candle, (originally very expensive), in a winter berries scent, was just $2.99. Unbelievable.
A cinnamon scented candle cost just $2.99.
This part of the Goodwill stash was deLIGHTful!
