Hanging Tomato Extravaganza

Baby tomatoes are sweet, yummy tidbits.

Each one has a bit of sunshine taste inside it, especially when plucked straight from the vine.

One of my in-state grands used to love to pick bright red baby tomato globes when he came to visit last summer.

We'd go on a treasure hunt under the bushy green leaves, looking for red tomatoes during every visit.

This year, a great big beautiful hanging baby tomato plant is ready and waiting to provide a crop of yumminess.

One night, during a frost warning, tomato plant spent a night hanging from an arm of the treadmill!

It's now hanging on the back porch.

There are already numerous clusters of baby green tomatoes that, when steeped in sunshine and given the gift of patience, will turn into small red globules.

DO YOU LOVE BABY TOMATOES? HOW DO YOU LIKE TO EAT THEM?

I remember my Mammaw always had a little hanging basket of cherry tomatoes off her backdoor patio. Was always fun as a kid to find a bright red one for picking. :) It's gotten so hot here and I just noticed the ants were having a grand harvest of mealy bugs on one of the balcony plants, so I've had to have a good cleanup. Have a blessed day.
