Time for Pumpkin Bread

What better time of year is there than autumn to bake fresh pumpkin bread?

Doubling the recipe gives eight small loaves.

They provide perfectly bite-sized slices for a delicious snack.

Pumpkin bread is delicious plain but even better with cream cheese and/or butter.

Chocolate chip cookies are delicious any time of year.

The recipe on the side of the Nestle's Chocolate Chips bag is foolproof.

If you want them to be soft, just whisk them out of the oven after about eight minutes.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO BAKE?

Not a fan of anything with pumpkin but I love baking Chocolate chip cookies and I use the recipe on the back of the bag just like you do. My grandchildren love them.

Susan, I think we are kindred spirits. I am sitting here sipping on my coffee and eating a slice of pumpkin loaf that I just got at Starbuck's. Your pumpkin bread looks Yummy, and those chocolate chip cookies! I like making the Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies. It takes time, but the cookies are wonderful. Enjoy your scrumptious treats, Susan. I'm assuming you're going to give some of the breads to loved ones since you made eight loafs. So thoughtful of you.

Everything looks so good! I Usually use my mini bread pans to make loaves of pumpkin or banana bread. Always looking for new recipes too. The Toll House Cookies are the best! YUM! Years ago I Use to make orange tea bread. You would cut up the orange slice candies and roll them in flour so they would not stick. Oh goodness, it was a process but those loaves made great gifts! You are a sweet baker Susan. I hope your week is blessed and beautiful. HUGS across the miles XO XO
