Yesterday, however, my reserve ended and there was a recreational shopping stop at a Goodwill thrift store.
Oh, it was great fun and resulted in several small treasures and even a couple of possible gifts for others.
One, (for me, ha ha), was a Russian doll with tiny dolls inside of her.
She had a crooked smile that charmed.
She was actually a music box and played a hauntingly beautiful Russian tune.
Wish I knew what the title was.
Anyway, the little dolls inside her turned around and around while the music played a most enchanting melody.
The dolls in different colors were photographed in the above photos as they twirled around to the music!
If you like seeing thrifted treasures, stop by again in the days to come as we'll show you some of the other goodies found on the recreational shopping stop.
Fun, fun, fun!
HAVE YOU SEEN THIS TYPE OF RUSSIAN DOLL?

Yes I have one but it's not a music box.
Oh, this is cute. The dolls twirling around are sweet. Looks like they might be her children. She has a warm smile and eyes, and the painting in back is artistic. I look forward to seeing the other goodies you found at the thrift store, Susan. What a fun day you had shopping. : )

Years ago I worked with a gentleman who collected those Russian dolls with his wife. As a doll collector I never had one but they are very cute. Thank you for sharing and isn't it fun to shop and enjoy small purchases? HUGS to you
