The Power of a Flower

 

While making a cup of tea, the tag had these words on it: "Are not flowers the stars of the earth?"

It was a quote by Clara Lucas Balfour. She lived in the 1800s and, according to the Internet's Wikipedia,  she was "an Enlish temperance campaigner, lecturer and author."  

How true that  flowers are the stars of the earth.

Their are millions of different kinds of both and they bring touches of magic and exquisite beauty to observers.

A dear friend sent me a note with a sweet scene on the front. Of course, it showed flowers and a dear little bird, too.

On any visits to thrift stores, small frames in a variety of styles always come home with me.

I love to frame small cards received.

Some of these are given as little gifts whenever the need arises and others can be spotted in my own small apartment.
