It's often noted that the "little child" we once were, still lives inside of us.
Honestly, I believe that.
When first seeing the big, pink bunny shown in today's post, my heart beat a little faster.
She was soft. She was cuddly. She was totally adorable.
She didn't cost an arm and a leg so I bought her.
Even though I really wanted to keep her for myself, I gave her to one of my grandchildren.
But if he ever wants to put her in the charity pile, I hope he calls me first and I'll take her back home with me.
The little kid in me wanted that pink bunny badly.
The rational adult knew she was meant to live with a kid.
HOW DO YOU NURTURE YOUR INNER CHILD?

What a cute pink bunny, and she looks soft too. I just bought Charlotte a mint green bunny, and I could have easily kept it myself. It was that cute! I think decorating for the holidays is another way to bring out the child in us. There are so many little things to put out when we had little children of our own.....and we remember. The bunny looks cute sitting there next to the pink pillows and blanket. Have a pleasant weekend, Susan.
Oh that bunny looks pretty big. I bet your grandchild loved it. I hardly ever think of my inner child. I don't think I do anything to bring mine out. I'm just too old ..ha ha.
Oh, I love that sweet bunny! Maybe you could be a second one for yourself! I think it's important to pay attention to those things (large and small) that delight the little child that still lives within us and try to remember to do so when opportunity arises. Thanks for the reminder to do so!
