Out With Winter Coverings, In With Those for Spring

For many months, now, two pink afghans-of-sorts have covered the couch and a lounge chair.

They made things very cozy all winter long.

Now it's time to strip them off, wash, dry, fold, and put them away until fall.

That's exactly what has been done today.

A white bedspread with a pretty, scalloped border, has replaced the pink covering that was  on the couch.

It looks fresh and pretty.

There's a matching, smaller version of the couch covering and that is on the nearby kitchen table.

Both look so nice and are absolutely telltale signs of spring.

Your couch cover and table cover looks very nice, Susan. The white is so pretty, and it looks springy. I love the scalloped border on the couch covering. I also did some rearranging, and put some spring things out. I went through that box I was telling you about, and only gave a couple things away. Sometimes it's hard to part with things, as we remember and remember. : ) Have a blessed weekend, Susan, and it sounds like you are feeling better!

Susan your new tablecloths look lovely. I took down EASTER decor today. I got some lovely spring pink flowers at Trader Joe's and put those in a crystal vase on my dining room table. That's my spring purchase.

Very pretty and fresh. I’ve swapped out our bedding, living room throws, and cushions for spring colours. Always a joy to do so and welcome the season.
