Stained glass windows are truly exquisite and quite unique.
It must take an immense amount of time to put such a window together.
It's so awesome to sit and look at stained glass windows and see the people, the scenes, and all they represent.
It'd be impossible to simply glance at a window. It takes time to see what is happening in each one.
The windows in today's post are from churches in western Massachusetts. The colorful windows are quite gorgeous.
There are so many churches in this area of the country and most of them have stained glass windows.
- It is hoped the windows are not a dying art since many churches have closed completely the last few years and have even been made into housing.
May stained glass windows go forward into the future for many generations, telling their stories and shining rainbow colored reflections over everything in their path.

These stained glass windows in the churches are beautiful. I especially love that one of Jesus with the children. There will always be a beauty in church stained glass windows. There is just too much detail and uniqueness for them not to be. The church I grew up at is known for them, and I just visited recently. These blue stained glass windows in this church are just beautiful, Susan.
A man that looks on glass,
On it may stay his eye;
Or if he pleaseth, through it pass,
And then the heav'n espy.

I remember the stain glass windows in the cathedrals in Ireland were so beautiful....they give such peace as you sit and stare at them and understand the story of each one..
I’ve seen many stained glass windows on many churches in Mexico the USA and especially in Europe. They are all beautiful including the ones in my own church where I live. Your pictures are stunning.
