Spending time with special friends is one of life's greatest gifts.
Having a luncheon with them is even more memorable.
A recent luncheon at my friend Donna's house turned out to be a class act.
She really made everything look very beautiful which made her guests, Carolyn, Sharon, and me, feel very special, indeed.
There was delicious herbal ham, roast beef, and turkey, two kinds of cheese and two kinds of bread, fat slices of fresh, juicy tomatoes, lettuce leaves, pickles, potato salad and potato chips.
Minty iced tea hit the spot as it was a hot day.
Adorable china plates and placemats made the table look like we were in an elegant restaurant.
Even salt and pepper shakers had flowers painted on them. Donna always picks out unique treasures at crafts fairs.
She served yummy raspberry sorbet with fresh raspberries and blueberries for dessert.
Also served were peanut butter cookie brownies!
The hours sped by as they always do when spending time with dear friends.Guests left with full tummies and thankful hearts.
Donna really made the luncheon one to remember.
