Advent Has Begun

Today is the first Sunday of Advent.

We remember the humble birth, once again, of the son of God.

It is a magical time----a time of peace and joy and unending love!

It's also a very busy time and we can get swept away in the chaos if we allow ourselves to get overwhelmed.

This year, however, even though it's terribly busy, I want to slow down.  To STOP.  

And just concentrate on the real reason for the season.

It's so hard to de-materialize. To focus on what Christmas is really all about.

So in the midst of "doing,"  why not just try to make a concentrated effort to just  "be?"
