While it's probably better to refrain from going out to lunch as recreation, it is fun to try different cuisines once in awhile.
Recently, I met a dear friend for lunch at a restaurant called Jae's, a pan-Asian place that, in my humble opinion, serves really delicious food.
It's in the Western Mass town of Lenox.
Being conscious of a tight budget, I ordered a Bento box for less than $10. It's shown in this post.
It included several different tidbits such as delicious chicken on skewers, a succulent, fat scallop, bites of salad and so on.
Unfortunately, I can't describe each thing because I didn't know what some of them even were!
The Bento box came with a cup of hot and sour soup and I love that spicy concoction.
My friend ordered chicken lettuce wraps, shown below, and gave them an A+ rating.
The whole lunch, to me, was great.
We skipped dessert but had a nice cup of hot orange flavored tea.
The company was good, too.
