Birthday Yummies

It was my niece's birthday this week.

Our large family tends to celebrate birthdays in a big way.

We don't rent halls or anything but we almost always get together for a dinner at the birthday person's house.

My niece's hubs is a terrific cook.  He made a thick meat sauce, spaghetti, and garlic bread.

Another niece brought a big salad.

Dessert was a towering chocolate ganache cake !

My sister reminded her daughter that on the day she was born, her Daddy held her from morning to night!

He was so enthralled with his new born baby girl that he just couldn't put her down!

No doubt,at last night's bash, he was looking down from heaven on the birthday girl.

I hope my niece's new year of life will be wonderful.
