Memorable Gathering at a Friend's House

Lovely decorations, including Victorian rose-covered trees, good friends and a fabulous buffet all result in a fun and memorable brunch.

A dear friend, Christine, recently  hosted a totally delightful gathering that blasted the blahs of winter.

Instead of just flowered paper plates, Christine glued them onto larger clear plastic plates.

They were much more sturdy and easy to handle.

What a great  idea!

She graciously agreed to share her home with readers of this blog.

A top-notch hostess, Christine must have worked for days decorating, cooking and setting up for guests.

An artist whose varied and unique paintings belong in a gallery, she also put decorative touches all over her charming home.

Many of them were floral bouquet such as these:

She created all kinds of little vignettes in every nook and cranny.

Christine loves picking up treasures in antique as well as thrift shops and uses them to brighten table tops, corners and counters.

Here she is, herself,  ebullient " hostess with the mostess."

Some of the brunch offerings Chris prepared will be shown on tomorrow's  post so please stop by again!

Christine is a terrific gourmet cook so you are in for quite a treat!

DO YOU ENJOY GOING TO BRUNCH?
