Time to Pause

This has been a whirlwind week and I have had almost no time to read blogs. That makes me feel very sad.

I'm hoping things will wind down and I can do some "back" reading.

In the meantime, just want you all to know that I'm thinking of you and want to read what's been been happening in your lives.

So many people need prayers right now. Sometimes it's good to just sit for a moment, close your eyes, and ask God to bless all those who need help.

Isn't the little flower arrangement shown above the cutest ever?

That picture was snapped at the Applewood Manor in Vermont quite awhile ago.

Whirlwind Week Ahead

This past weekend went by in a flash.

It seems that the closer we get to the holidays, the faster time flies.

It's very important for me to go out onto the porch, look down at the rug, and practice its message:

This entire week is going to be a record-setter as far as things that need to be done are concerned. In the midst of all the hoopla and planning, I plan to Stop.

Sit.

 Relax.

Refresh.

Somehow, some way, everything will get done. There's no need to spazz out and get all twisted in a knot.

It will be good to just pretend I'm this little sailboat, out in the middle of this beautiful lake, gliding on by, without a care in the world.

The holidays are hectic but wonderful.  We can pace ourselves.

If something doesn't get done, oh wellllllllll.

Hope you have a great week.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU START TO FEEL OVERWHELMED?
