A catalog from the Vermont Country Store, which is located in Weston, Vermont, has so many intriguing items that one can easily spend several hours reading through it.
So you can imagine how much fun it is to actually go to the store behind the catalog.
It's a drive that 's about two hours from where we live but the ride is pleasant, particularly in the fall.
One of the items that always catches my eye when we go are the colorful socks.
Their hues and patterns are, well, as happy as one can even begin to imagine.
They even have socks for the littlest of feet!
Someday, I just might break down and buy a pair or two!
