Childhood Hobbies Carry Over Into Adulthood

Whatever we love as children gets carried over into adulthood.

Do you think this is true?

My own childhood fascination with and love for dolls is still with me today. It's been a lifelong love affair.

As part of Christmas decor this year, I rounded up all the dollies in red and green outfits, plus a couple entirely in white.

Many of them came from thrift stores or were found at yard sales.  Some were gifts from people who knew how much I love dolls.  Just goes to prove collections don't have to cost an arm and a leg.

They are lined up on the shelves of my Guatemalan hutch,  hoisted down the stairs to the dining room in recent weeks.

The dollies in their holiday attire look quite "festivas."

DO YOU USE ANY DOLLS IN YOUR CHRISTMAS DECOR?

Today we are joining Show and Tell Friday on Cindy's blog, My Romantic Home and Thifty Things Friday on Diann's blog, The Thrifty Groove.
