Knitted Pumpkin Memories....

In the front hallway, on a table, an autumn "angel" watches over a a couple of pumpkins, including a knitted one.

Isn't the little angel cute? Look at her face!

I love the pumpkin because it was my Mom's.

Oh, Mummy loved decorations and hit every craft sale within a 25 mile radius.

She was always picking up something to decorate her bedroom.

I added this little plaque to the front porch.

I love the little knitted pumpkin.

It makes me think of my Mummy, who died in 2006.

Six years have passed and there's not a day that goes by that I don't miss her.  Perhaps that's how it's always going to be, until we meet again.

Did I show you our front porch rug?  I bought it last year and just love it.  It reminds me to "Give thanks" in all situations, both good and bad.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? DO WE EVER STOP MISSING OUR PARENTS?
