Five Years of Blogging and More than 1,850 Posts! Woo Hoo

Today, Writing Straight from the Heart would like to send out a warm and heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all Followers and other readers of this blog. 

Also, we'd like to announce a little giveaway of some items that are nice for fall as a teeny weenie gesture of gratitude.

In October, this blog celebrated five (sweet) years of blogging!

That's more than 1,850 posts that have been written, seven days a week, and illustrated by thousands of photographs !

While I wish, with all my heart, I could offer the giveaway to my dear Followers in other countries, at this time it's impossible, due to the high costs of postage.

This makes me sad, of course, and I promise to figure out a way to include out-of-USA Followers in the future because you are very dear as well as important to me.

It was in the fall of 2009, after seeing the movie "Julie and Julia," that I yearned to learn what blogging was all about.

There is simply no way to express how deeply thankful I am to those dear souls who chose to Follow Writing Straight from the Heart.

There are literally thousands upon thousands of blogs out there in blogland and the fact that you chose  to Follow this one makes me very happy, indeed.


Meeting each of you and reading about your own lives has been a wonderful experience. 

 

I consider each of you a kindred spirit of the highest level.
