Handmade is Best

So much of what we buy these days is made in "you know where."

To walk through a shop where almost every single item out of thousands of objects is made by the hands of craftswomen  and craftsmen in the good ol' USA, is a very pleasant experience.

There is such a place and 75 craftswomen and craftsmen have their goods for sale there. We've mentioned this shop before in this post and will probably have another post on it in the future.

The name of the shop is Lanesboro Junction in a Massachusetts town of the same name, Lanesboro.

Let's take a look at some of the offerings:

A bright and cheerful baby's bib, shown in the photo at the top of this post.

A sunflower-covered table runner:

A sweet stuffed snowman:

A large selection of lovely jewelry:

Mom and daughter nighties. By the way, that's Christine Larrow, the store manager, holding them up for you to see.

Mom and daughter aprons:

An Uncle Sam dodad for the Fourth of July:

A handpainted pink tea set:

A little bit more on this shop in the near future.

In the meantime, if you are interested in anything you see in this post, give Christine a call.

Her number is (413-997-4350).
