Hopeful for Hyacinths

People who shop at Trader Joe's know they have great prices on flowers and many grocery items.

It's always fun to go there, look around, people watch, and pick out favorite items one cannot get anywhere else.

Their very pretty all occasion greeting cards are just 99 cents each.

Because a truck shipment of goods was unable to be delivered due to snowstorms in Pennsylvania, today the usually stuffed shelves were on the bare side.

They usually have lots of different kinds of seasonal plants for sale, too, and there were plenty of those.

It's hard to pass up hyacinths for  only $4.99.

They are not flowering yet but the buds look hopeful.

Because my favorite color is pink, one of that color was selected plus a blue one for a friend.

Despite really brutally cold temps, the sun was shining and it was good to have a little out-of-town excursion.  

For the next few days, I will be hopeful for hyacinths.
