And now for today's post at Writing Straight from the Heart:
Hostas are plants that come in numerous varieties.
They have not been claimed among my favorites but I've got to be honest, they are very hard to kill.
Their origin is in China.
Just a few days ago, the above plants looked like this:
We have hostas growing at the very beginning of our front yard sidewalk, leading up to the house.
They are just starting to grow now, as shown in this post.
Almost overnight, they popped up and out in full greenery.
There have been times when I wondered if they would block the sidewalk all together.
Hostas even grow in the shade.
At first, I wanted hubs to dig them up but now I've grown accustomed to them.
Long live the hostas!
