What is it about little girls and tea parties?
They seem to be drawn to them like magnets to a refrigerator.
My little sweetheart granddaughter goes crazy over tea parties.
Even if it's just the two of us, she is still filled with enthusiasm.
Recently a young friend and my little sweetheart had a tea party on the side porch.
There were pink frosted donuts from Dunkin Donuts, of course, and strawberry milk "tea."
There was a basket of pink silk roses and a (battery-operated) candle, too!
They had a blast and so did Gammie. I didn't even mind the clean up.
It was so much fun!
HAVE YOU HOSTED A LITTLE GIRLS' TEA PARTY?
News of the little girls' tea party spread fast.
It immediately produced excitement.
"What outfit should I wear?"
"What will they serve?"
"A party just for me? And I'm not even a grown-up!"
A darling older girl, with a heart of gold, planned the party for the little ones. (There she is on the right!)
The table looked adorable.
See those little Santas? They encased the silverware!
Lots of goodies got gobbled as well as hot chocolate "tea."
In addition, there was a lovely fire in the fireplace and red shoes, too!
This little hand helped itself to the colored marshmallows before
the "tea" even arrived.
The rug under the table for precaution was a very good idea, to catch spills.
The attendees looked darling in their sweet, holiday outfits.
Most of all, the party filled each guest to bursting with happiness!
And a good time was had by all!
