She called me and asked if I'd like some of the apples she picked!
Would I? Of course. She gave me a LOT of apples.
(God bless that woman. Her generous heart is bigger than a football field sized apple orchard!)
The first crock pot batch of apple butter has been made and it did make the house smell yummy.
Then came a batch of yummy applesauce.
To me, apples and things to make with them are all part of autumn!
So are pumpkins and the new pumpkin-covered dish towels have gotten plenty of use lately!
Still to come are apple pie filling, apple betty and hopefully, a few uncooked apple pies to throw into the freezer! Yippah!
It's apple time in the old town tonight and fall is definitely in the air!
