Loving Lovely Lilies of the Valley

It seems amazing that many posts from this blog these days pertain to flowers.

Of course, it is the time of year when they arrive and bring so much incredulous beauty to our lives.

Flowers are such great gifts from God to His earthly children.

Today's photos show beautiful, delicate, and gently fragranced lilies of the valley.

They happily grow around the fountain in our backyard. 

As a little child, I'd pick these beauties on walks in the woods with my Aunt Gert and my cousins.

Oh, it was so thrilling to get an entire bunch them to put into a little glass container upon my return home.

To this day, the scent of these lilies of the valley fills my heart with joy.

That's why I even love wearing Jessica McClintock perfume spray. It's very reminiscent of lilies of the valley.
