Waiting (Not) So Patiently...

Waiting, waiting, waiting.

We spend much of our lives waiting for babies to be born, for better times, for different jobs, for higher salaries, for the first steps of a little one, for kindergarten, for high school and college graduations, and for anything and everything after that.

Right now, waiting for spring weather, even though it's already supposed to be spring, seems to be what a lot of people are doing, including me.

The budding branches are what can be seen when looking out of our kitchen window.

We are waiting for them to burst into millions of green leaves.

Right now, while waiting for that, freezing rain and icy driving conditions are being forecast.

So, we wait.  We try to be patient.  We enjoy the loveliness of the budding branches.

Today, we can be be grateful while waiting.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU ARE CURRENTLY WAITING FOR?

A "Cupcake" of a Apron

On a day trip to Vermont, a couple of years ago, and in a small shop, there was an apron I loved.

It was covered with cupcakes and was adorable, all except for one thing-----the price.

That was anything but adorable and it was way out of my spending budget.

So recently, on a trip to Wally-Mart, guess what I found?

It's a bright and cheery, feminine, cupcake-covered apron for just $7.99.

Sold!

DO YOU BELIEVE GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT?
