When looking at interior decorating photos accumulated over the years, red often shows up in furniture.
Whether it's an armoire, a side table or even a chest, red looks fabulous.
It is, after all, a vibrant color and one equated with passion and zest for life.
It's also predominant in Polish crafts and outfits.
My maternal Polish grandma's white kitchen curtains were edged in crocheted white and red!
At the top of this post, you see a beautiful red chest, right?
It belongs to my dear friend, Christina.
It's in her dining room and every time I see it, I love it.
That's also her red home's front door.
Like the door and chest, Christina has a zest for life, too!
