Rather than have the familiar decorations in the same place every year, I like to move things around.
Some decorations I even use a couple of times and then donate them to a thrift store.
All I can think of is how many hours it took someone to make it. It really must have been very labor intensive.
This year, I used it as a table centerpiece at one of the season's first dinner parties. Loved it.
Small gifts, wrapped in red and green tissue paper, surrounded a big bowl of pomanders. The latter, I use year round. Some days, their fragrance is very pronouced and other days barely discernable.Hope your season, so far, has been fun.
