A funny saying is "Time flies whether you are having fun or not."
Isn't that the truth?
Here we are in a new month and summer is speeding by.
Already it's starting to get dark earlier. I don't like that at all.
It's imperative, however, to live just one sweet day at a time.
Each day we get up and out of bed is a good day, right?
A lot of people can't even do that.
One good thing about a new month is flipping my beloved Susan Branch calendar.
Susan is absolutely one of my favorite people in the whole world. She's a marvelous artist.
But even more than her art, I love her spirit. She's optimistic and lifts a person up with the magic of her words.

I'll be sure to buy her 2013 calendar, too, because it's one of the best parts of a new year!
Susan lives part of the year on Martha's Vineyard and part in her native California.
She's such a sweet, charming person.
Even though we have never met, I feel like I know her and certainly wish I did!
Her calendar is now flipped to the new month.
