Thankful To Be Blessedly Home

Joining Thankful Sunday #7 on Linda's blog, A La Carte.
Stop by her blog and say "hello."

Most weeks life takes me out of our home every day.

With a couple part-time jobs, helping take care of my granddaughter while our daughter goes to her own part-time job, doing errands, grocery shopping, and swimming for exercise at an indoor community pool, staying home is quite impossible.

As a matter of fact, the hours I'm able to be home are a tremendous blessing.

So on this beautiful Sunday, I'm going to say that being blessedly home is what I am immensely grateful for.

(First, however, I'm going to attend a baby shower!)

This is especially true on frosty cold days that require trudging through snow and putting up with face-freezing temperatures.

If I'm able to be home, I'll put on a crock pot of soup, light a fire in the fireplace, and work around the house,  thoroughly enjoying being in the comfort of home.

It's also fun to look out the windows and see what's going on in the outside world.

The hearts you see in the windows in this post are still up, sweet reminders of Valentine's Day, along with a few X's and O's for hugs and kisses!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT BEING HOME? DO YOU CONSIDER BEING HOME A BLESSING?
