These are such precarious times in which we are living.
COVID-19 has wreaked havoc around the world for a year now.
Precious lives, thousands upon thousands of them, have been lost.
This past week, the impact of the killer virus hit home with a vengeance.
My beloved, elderly auntie succumbed to the virus.
All the tears in the world will not bring her back.
Thanks to strong faith and belief in the after life, it is sure she is in a better place.
No more disappointments, pain, suffering, or tears for her. She is finally at peace and supremely happy.
Those of us left behind weep but we really weep for ourselves since we will miss our loved ones immensely.
Prayer is a powerful healer and a deep, abiding comfort.
