Sunday, after staying in the house for a couple of days due to the blizzard, it was imperative to have an "escape."
After going to church, where would be the most likely place to go without driving too far on the still snowy roads?
To a thrift store, of course!
Then I saw it----a two tired piece with round glass inserts and fancy scrolling.
The item just caught my eye and for $2.79, it was irresistible.
Picked up a few other things, too, but this one was my "prize."
It might be in need of painting because the gold is kind of tarnished.
What do you think?
Should it be left "as is" or painted?
If painted, should it be white?
After a good scrub in hot, sudsy water, I rinsed off the new treasure and turned it into a fruit stand for now.
