Butterflies are magical creatures.
They seem so delicate, like flying pieces of art.
When they alight on a flower, it's breathtaking.
They flutter and disappear in an instant.
Imagine how it felt to see one perch on my daughter's pant leg!
We were all totally amazed and ran for cell phone cameras.

Some people believe a visit by a butterfly indicates someone from the other realm of life is sending a message.
If that's true, I wonder who it was and what he or she wanted to say.
In any event, the butterfly's visit was very joyful.
