At a baby shower extravaganza attended last weekend, the party house looked "festivas" and guests had a great time.
Huge balloons in the shapes of baby feet bobbed as well as one that looked like a stork. Streamers livened up the room, too.
Out in the front of the house, a baby carriage sign and more balloons welcomed guests.
A floral arrangement with white roses and blue hyacinths was quite breathtaking.
A simple flower in a vase on a lace runner was more simple but also beautiful.
More flowers in unique containers:
A homemade CONGRATULATIONS sign hung above the fireplace. It even had a hand painted baby boy on it! Kudos to the artist.
The mirror and bookcase sported decorations, too!
Future Grandma even had her toesies painted blue, in keeping with the baby boy blue theme. Yowzers!
As guests left the extravaganza, they could take a small box of chocolates from a very special chocolate shop called Catherine's!
WHAT KIND OF DECORATIONS HAVE YOU LOVED BEST AT BABY SHOWERS?

I have a friend who goes hog wild when she throws a baby shower. We've had some pretty rambunctious baby showers in the past with games and all. I missed the last one because of a conflict and don't think this will be the last baby to come in our group. Have a great day! Tammy
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to many baby showers. This looks so nice! Love the flowers.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what it will be like when the baby boy actually gets here in October!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun, and it looks so beautifully decorated. I love that little bear.

I guess it is a boy - loved it all and the blue toenails. I liked the unusual vase too.
ReplyDeleteThe clothes line idea is clever....
ReplyDeleteWanted you to know Buffalo came about as a result of garden blogs last year. I just saw enough pictures of their open gardens that I wanted to go. We were 1/2 way there for our convention and just went the rest of the way. Glad we did!
