There are so many incredible types of flowers on earth!
Having an inquisitive mind, I often look deeply at flowers and wonder how God could have created them. They are all so different yet magnificent.
Of course, they are for our enjoyment.
I suppose one could have the same sense of amazement over animals, birds, fish and other sea creatures, insects, and, well, people!
All are so varied yet all so painstakingly formed.
A dear friend gave me the flowers shown in today's post as part of a Valentine's Day gift. Here it is almost two weeks later, and they are still alive.
Seeing them each day fills me with wonder and, of course, deep gratitude.
Soon they will be gone by but until the last moment, they will be enjoyed.
Today, this blog is joining a new blog party, Think on These Things. It's on Lorraine's blog With a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart. Stop by and read some of the other inspirational posts!

The photos are gorgeous, especially the first one! The star burst of white on the lavender and purple background is amazing. I agree with you, it is mind boggling the array of colors, shapes and fragrances of flowers.
Susan such lovely photos. I love how delicate flowers are and the designs just amaze me. One of my favorite things to photograph. hugs, Linda
Yes! I am so happy you linked up! When I was reading this post earlier I thought it would be perfect but decided not to mention it to you. You must have read my mind :)
When your picture came up and I saw that flower - I thought of how beautiful Heaven is going to be - I mean if HE can make an earthly flower that pretty - can you imagine. I would love to just stare at it all day of if I was teeny - let it surround me. Been a long day!
love, sandie
That purple flower is incredibly beautiful.
How creative our God is--it IS mind-boggling, not only the outsides of the flowers, but the insides--the stem, stamens, pollen! Did you know that pollen is like snowflakes? No two flowers have pollen that is alike!
I love spidermums, too!
Love you, Susan!
Blessings on your beautiful day!
HUGS,

Have a lovely day!

Hi Susan,
Flowers are magic. For one little seed to have the makings of a flower inside is amazing.
