A children's consignment shop owner recently said her kind of business is the "wave of the future."
Given the state of these hard economic times, I'm inclined to agree with her.
I've been consignment shopping for years.
The name of the shop in this post is Bizzy B's Boutique.
It's located in a house on a busy street and has a bright pink door.
Baby carriages and other items are usually displayed in front.
It carries baby, toddler, and children's clothing as well as some toys, books and baby equipment.
It's located in a quaint yet bustling New England town, Great Barrington.
I love perusing Bizzy B's. It's bright, cheerful and filled with great things!
Just look at this Victorian-looking bassinet that would be so perfect for a baby girl-turned-princess!
There's so much to look at in a relatively small space in this cool shop.
I especially love to look at little girls' clothing.
There are so many adorable outfits and styles from which to choose.
Of course, nowadays, they even have really cute things for little boy babies.
Wouldn't your favorite little Miss love the darling outfit shown below?
The personable owner, Keri Vincelette, is very particular about items she sells.
All clothing brought in to sell has to be good quality and clean in order to find a space at Bizzy B's.
Not only do young mothers looking for items benefit from the shop, women who bring items in to sell also make out well by earning extra money.
Sounds like a win/win situation to me.
By the way, if you want to reach Keri, check out the shop's Facebook page, call (413) 329-7208, or e-mail her at bizzybeco@gmail.com.
SO HOW ABOUT YOU? WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT CONSIGNMENT SHOPPING?

What a sweet shop! I think Consignment Shops probably ARE the wave of the future. (As long as SOME people can still afford to buy the NEW clothes!)
What a beautiful shop! And the buggy out front is to die for! Love it. Kit
I love shops like this. Great items at reduced prices. What a lovely store she has.
Great looking shop. We all know that children don't wear things out - they just grow out of them and sometimes too quickly.
We have several within a couple miles of where I live. I do like to frequent them even if I do not get anything...I just like looking around at the items. There are toys and clothes and lots of things for children. Cute pics at the Great Barrington store Susan.
There have been times when I have found children's clothing with the tags still attached. The shop you have featured looks really cute. I'd say it was fun to browse there.
I love consignment shops - now you are right that she does take only nice things - a cut above the thrift shops. Looks very nice with a lot of pink! lol sandie
Especially good to be in the consignment business for baby clothes as everyone always gets soooooo much at baby showers and babies outgrow all those cute clothes soooooo fast! Sounds like a great shop. Best wishes to you, Tammy
