A visit to the New England Aquarium in Boston is bound to be an unforgettable experience for both kids and adults.
Hubs and I went recently with our daughter and baby granddaughter.
It was thrilling to put my handy little digital camera up to the glass and capture images of the fish!
It's hard to pinpoint what was most memorable since there was so much to see.
The variety of fish on hand totally astounded.
Brilliant blue, yellow, deep pink, orange and other colored specimens flashed before our very eyes as they zoomed by in the water tank.
It's going to be my delight to share many aspects of our excursion to the aquarium with you over the next few days so please, if you are interested, come back!
We delighted in the Penguinology exhibit, moon jelly (jelly fish), an octopus, seadragons, seals, sharks and so much more!
Visitors are allowed to lower their hands into the water and gently touch the rays shown above and below! (They felt similar to chilly gelatin.)
If you love reading about aquariums, be sure to go the the website linked above. It's a great site!
Shown below is the outside of the aquarium.

Amazing places and this is a wonderful way of seeing what lives in our oceans.

Yes, I've been to several. The aquarium of the Pacific is in Long Beach not too far from me and it is always packed with visitors. I also like the Monteray Bay aquarium. Isn't it great to share these sights with your little granddaughter?
Hey Susan!
So very cool and wow what a great way to spend the weekend with the little youngster too!

Hello from Spain: beautiful pictures of fish. I have never visited an aquarium. Keep in touch
Oh Susan, I could have used one of these awesome pictures for Nel's birthday post when I mentioned the sea. These are great pictures, and they make me want to go there. Aquariums fascinate me. How nice that your granddaughter got to see this.
Thank you for the birthday wishes for Nel. It means so much to me.
love,

This is one of my favorite places, EVER! Our zoo has a sting ray exhibit where you are allowed to touch them, too. what an experience. I just know your baby girl was thrilled.
Aquariums are very fun and educational. Have been to the one in Boston a couple of times when the kids were younger and also the one in Mystic Ct. Your grandaughter must have loved seeing all the different fish. The undersea world is fascinating.
I do love Aquariums and we have a couple near us!
Girl you are having a wonderful summer going here and there. Love the aquarium - we have a nice one here too.
Great photos, Susan! We love aquariums.
Such colorful photos. I know it was fun to share the trip with your daughter/granddaughter. I have never visited Atlanta's aquarium, even though it is fairly close.
