Chickens and roosters have become quite popular in home decorating.
They are colorful and whimsical.
They appear on aprons, ceramic sculptures, cookie jars, dishes, glasses, dish towels, furniture, curtains and so forth.
All of the chickie and rooster items in this post are for sale in a place called The Hidden Jewel, including the handsome painting shown at the top of the post.
It's a sweet shop in Manchester, Vermont, with a salmon colored door and a friendly owner, named Lynne Robillard.
You can read more about the shop's offerings in previous posts here and here.
This little non-chicken and non-rooster duo is also in shop and made this shopper smile.
DO YOU USE CHICKENS OR ROOSTERS IN YOUR HOME DECORATING?

Looks like a fun place to shop! I don't have any roosters but I do love them. Shelia at Note Songs blogs has a splendid collection of roosters.

Hello from Spain: I like chickens and roosters as kitchen decor. I have a rooster that changes color depending on the weather. Pink is rain. Blue is good weather. Great proposals. Keep in touch
My daughter does in her home, but I don't. We have real chickens next door.

No I don't use them in my home decor but your pictures are so cute. I'm glad you enjoyed your excursion to that place.
Hi Susan: I love to decorate with chickens and roosters. My husband doesn't like it very much, but I think they are so much fun. I have quite a collection. I have to share them one day. Hope you are well and having a great week. Blessings, Martha
