Bouillon "Building" Blocks

Every time a bouillon cube is needed for a recipe, it's frustrating to open the small square it comes in.

It's tightly wrapped and takes patience to pry open the shiny paper on the outside and then peel it off.

Now a little person I know loves to build with blocks.

She's also very smart so I asked her to unwrap a bunch of bouillon cubes.

Problem solved!

She opened every single one of the chicken bouillon cubes, followed by the beef!

She also had a great time "building" with them, before they were unwrapped! Ha!

The next time I need a cube, it'll be all unwrapped and ready to use.

WHAT ACTIVITY WITH A TODDLER HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL FOR YOU BOTH?

We make our own playdough which is always fun as they choose the colors for it with food coloring, we finger paint with chocolate pudding, we play with balloons (always super hero ones) play dress up with cowboy, pirate and Mexican sombrero hats and a ton of other things. Love having my grandsons here.

I wonder why those little cubes are wrapped so tightly and difficult to unwrap. Your little helped did a great job!

Child labor ha-ha. Now you never have to fuss with those cubes again.

...Susan, your helper did very well with the bullion cubes... they can be a bit awkward to unwrap....
