Pretty Frame for Pennies
When it comes to the brass look, it's love at first sight for me.
I don't care that modern designers think brass is passe. For me, it's not.
It's quite Victorian, I guess, but who cares? It's classy and shiny and beautiful.
Well, during a recreational stop at Goodwill recently, an oval frame just about let off firecrackers when I saw it.
It's soooooo pretty. Immediately, I could "see" my grandbaby's photo in it!
It has two holders on the back so it can even be used this way:
Can you believe the price on the back was only $3.50?
Well, it's not real brass. It sure looks like it is, though-----a perfect "fake."
It's a big frame, too, a couple of feet long!
It will look wonderful on a bedroom wall.
DOES BRASS APPEAL TO YOU?

A pretty frame indeed.
Funny talking about brass - we have brass door knows and locks - just went to Home Depot and bought some brass cleaner to clean them - looked really nice and shiny.
Susan, what a wonderful buy! Love it and think brass, real or not is awesome!
Very very pretty! I love all metal and I like to mix it in my home. I think my favorite is copper. :) Kit
I think it is lovely and will work so well in your beautiful Victorian home! Looks like an old Home Interior's piece. Very pretty!
Who cares what modern designers think. I love old stuff. Your frame looks beautiful and if you like it then that's all that matters. :)
I really like this frame, Susan. I love antique gold, not sure if that's the same thing as brass. I think it looks so nice just the way it is, with the soft pink roses. What a treasure you found for a few dollars.
Have a blessed Sunday.
love, ~Sheri
If you like brass frames by all means have them. It's your house and your decor. Very pretty frame!
What a beautiful frame!
I like brass and use to have a few old kitchen things back in Sweden.. I love pots and pans made of brass.
Treasure!
