The cross shown at the top of this post is unique.
It makes a lovely gift for any occasion but especially for children who are Catholic and making their First Holy Communion.
Several times I have given them as gifts and they are always well received.
When placed on a windowsill where a ray of
sunshine can go through it, the result is hundreds of
rainbows.
The rainbows can be found on the
walls, ceiling, floor, furniture and from top to bottom of humans in the room!
Little children especially love this
spectacle as do adults whose inner kids are still alive and kicking.
So today, I wish you a
rainbow-filled day of your own!

Gosh what a lovely crystal made into the sign of the cross - I think they are beautiful. I am going to go to those stores you mentioned - I hope I can find them! Just so busy this week! Finals.....

I have a similar cross on my dining room table that belonged to Mom. When the sun shines there are sparkles on the walls. I love it. I love rainbows ..they remind me of a song that I taught my preschoolers when they were learning their colors :I can Sing a Rainbow"....
I remember this crystal rainbow cross, Susan. It's very pretty. Rainbows are very special to me, as I believe that when we see a rainbow it is a gift. I get so excited when I see one in real life, and even on blogs. They are beautiful.

.. I don't have a crystal cross, Susan.... but, I do have some other ornaments with crystals in them and they make beautiful rainbows too... this always makes me smile... the rainbows are beautiful..
